The Senior IT Project Manager will guide Agile teams through the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), manage project scope, budget, and schedules, and engage with executives and cross-functional teams to align initiatives with strategic priorities. This position emphasizes leadership, process rigor, and collaboration, while driving measurable outcomes through software and data projects. You will play a key role in shaping technology solutions that support education systems and stakeholders across the state.. . Accountabilities. . Lead Agile software development teams through the SDLC to ensure timely, high-quality project delivery.. . Develop and maintain project charters, budgets, plans, and schedules, managing changes to scope and priorities.. . Ensure application and infrastructure deliverables meet business expectations, legislative requirements, and quality standards.. . Communicate project progress, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders, executives, and leadership teams.. . Motivate, influence, and guide cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.. . Define and articulate technology roadmaps, aligning initiatives with organizational strategy.. . Apply performance competencies such as productivity, decision-making, communication, growth mindset, initiative, and influence.. . . 8+ years of experience working with software application teams using SDLC, PMLC, and Agile Scrum methodologies.. . 3+ years of experience with Power BI and Data Lake technologies.. .
