We are actively looking for a Senior Accountant who will be a key member of the accounting team to report to the Global Controller. In this role, you will take ownership of accounting at several portfolio companies and act as a consultant to the portfolio company management team. These companies have small teams and need assistance with the month-end close, financial reporting, financial planning and analysis, forecasting, and finance operations. The perfect candidate for this role is someone who thrives in building something from scratch and is not afraid to dive deep into the details and get his/her hands dirty. Primary Responsibilities. · Manage the entire month-end close process for several companies.. · Record bank transactions and reconcile bank accounts.. · Prepare general ledger entries and maintain records and files.. · Assist with monthly general ledger reconciliations.. · Contribute to the development of new accounting systems, programs, controls, and. procedures.. · Assist with research on technical accounting issues and document findings in. accounting memorandums.. · Assist with monthly intercompany consolidation of financial information between parent. and subsidiaries.. · Assist with annual audit preparations and interact effectively with auditors.. · Manage corporate credit card programs.. · Be willing to step in to help with any accounting function if necessary.. · Prepare ad-hoc reports and perform other duties and special projects as assigned.. · Proficient in English.. · Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related degree required.. · Master’s degree in related field and/or CPA preferred.. · 6+ years’ experience in accounting required.. · Experience working with US companies.. · Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.. · Audit experience preferred.. · Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.. · Ability to work independently and as part of a team.. · Excellent analytical and organizational skills, with close attention to detail.. · Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.. · Strong relationship skills with the ability to work with others at all levels.. · QuickBooks Online and Xero experience..
