We are looking to hire an experienced marketing and events professional to join the Raspberry Pi Foundation's growing US team. Reporting to the Executive Director, you will be responsible for devising and implementing marketing campaigns and a program of engaging events that increase awareness of our educational products and learning experiences, with a focus on schools and youth and community organisations.. The ideal candidate will have at least two years experience in a marketing or events focused role, ideally in the education sector. You will be an excellent communicator, highly organised, and able to manage a diverse and fast paced portfolio of projects. . This is a newly created position in our US team and you will work across all of our US-focused products and programmes. You will also work closely with our global marketing and communications team who are based in the UK. Our US teams are based in Metro-Atlanta, Georgia and the Twin Cities, Minnesota, and we are looking to appoint someone who lives in one of those areas and is able to travel across the US for events. . Develop and implement marketing campaigns to grow awareness and engagement with the Raspberry Pi Foundation’s educational programmes in the United States.. . Plan, promote, and deliver events across the US, including educator training workshops, volunteer meetups, conference booths, and showcase events for young people.. . Manage event logistics end-to-end: budgeting, venue selection, travel arrangements, vendor coordination, materials prep, and on-the-ground support.. . Represent the Raspberry Pi Foundation at key conferences, education summits, and community events to build visibility and foster partnerships.. . Create or adapt content for email marketing, social media, digital ads, event promotions, and partner toolkits.. . Collaborate with the global marketing and communications team to ensure alignment with brand guidelines and messaging strategy.. . Track and report on marketing metrics, event participation, and campaign performance to inform future strategy and planning.. . Manage project timelines, budgets, and reporting for marketing and events activity in the US.. . Experience and personal attributes. A marketing or relevant business degree, and/or professional marketing qualification. . 2+ years in marketing, communications, or event management, preferably in the education, nonprofit, or mission-driven sector.. . Experience of designing, developing, and implementing marketing campaigns. . Experience of running events, workshops and training, ideally with educators and young people . . The ability to analyse and interpret data to evaluate campaign success and ROI, and make recommendations for improvements. . Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Able to represent the Foundation externally, write clearly, and to build rapport with diverse audiences, including educators and young people . . Outstanding project management skills. .
