This role provides technical support throughout the engineering and construction phases of renewable energy projects. You'll collaborate with utilities, vendors, and clients, ensuring seamless design execution, procurement, installation, and commissioning. The environment is fast-paced and mission-driven, offering exposure to impactful work in sustainability while supporting both remote and hybrid flexibility within California.. Accountabilities:. . Design and engineer commercial and small utility-scale solar PV systems, incorporating code and policy updates.. . Coordinate with utilities, vendors, and engineering firms to ensure alignment and timely delivery of project designs.. . Support procurement activities, manage material orders, and conduct onsite inspections throughout installation.. . Oversee project commissioning and assist in finalizing utility documentation and closeout.. . Conduct performance analysis and reporting using Helioscope, PVSyst, and Excel.. . Assist business development teams with due diligence during the pre-contract phase.. . Serve as the point of contact for clients during design and construction, ensuring consistent cadence and satisfaction.. . . Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil or Electrical preferred) or a related field.. . 2–3 years of experience in solar project engineering or a similar role.. . Proficiency in Helioscope, AutoCAD, PVSyst, and Excel; knowledge of Procore and Salesforce is a plus.. . Strong understanding of permitting and interconnection processes, with basic financial modeling skills.. . Excellent organizational and communication abilities with a sharp eye for detail.. . Able to work independently on multiple projects and navigate cross-functional coordination effectively.. . Willingness to travel occasionally throughout California (approximately once per week).. .
