We are currently looking for a Senior Cyber Security Engineer in California (USA).. We are seeking a Senior Cyber Security Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and management of security solutions that protect critical systems and data. In this role, you will assess risk, define security requirements, and ensure the organization can effectively prevent, detect, respond to, and recover from cyber threats. You will work with cross-functional teams to implement best-in-class security architectures, perform audits, and respond to incidents. The role combines hands-on technical work with strategic planning, allowing you to influence the company’s security posture and operational resilience. You will stay ahead of emerging threats and contribute to building a secure, compliant, and robust environment. This is a flexible position with opportunities for remote, hybrid, and on-site work.. Accountabilities. . Harden internal and external systems to minimize potential attacks and intrusions.. . Evaluate, implement, and maintain effective security technologies and architectures.. . Conduct security audits, compliance checks, and risk assessments to ensure adherence to policies.. . Develop and document security standards, policies, and procedures for infrastructure and applications.. . Investigate and respond to security incidents, coordinating remediation efforts.. . Collaborate with governance, risk, and compliance teams on vendor and operational risk management.. . Research emerging threats, trends, and technologies to inform proactive security measures.. . . Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Security, or related field.. . 4–6 years of experience in an engineering security role.. . Hands-on experience with cloud security architectures and services, particularly AWS.. . Familiarity with security tools such as SIEM, SOAR, EDR, NDR, PAM, and DLP.. . Strong security mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.. . Ability to prioritize, plan, and manage workload effectively.. .
