Over the last 8 years, we have grown our reach and impact in India through a range of computing education partnerships and programmes in both formal and non-formal learning. . We are looking for a State Manager (Programme Manager) to join our India team to grow and manage all computing education programmes and partnerships in the state of Telangana.. The ideal candidate will be an experienced education programme and partnerships manager, with a specialism in computing. You’ll have a diverse background in programme and project planning and management, partnership development and management, and general administration. . You will identify and secure new partnerships to grow our reach and impact and work collaboratively to plan, deliver, monitor and achieve successful outcomes in all programmes in the state. This includes managing existing partnerships with the Telangana Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (TGSWREIS) and Telangana Tribal Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (TGTWREIS) and the delivery of the computing curriculum, Code Clubs and Center of Excellence in computing.  You will be expected to use data, community and stakeholder feedback, and rigorous research to support programme improvement. . Key responsibilities. Identify and secure new partnership opportunities in Telangana to grow our the reach and impact in collaboration with NGOs, government partners and corporates. Plan, roll out, and manage all computing education programmes in the state, ensuring programmes achieve the desired outcomes and impact. Manage the relationship and develop the partnership with the government partners for effective implementation and expansion. Build and manage a high performance team, providing them with the clarity and support to enable them to do the best work of their careers. Plan and organise high-impact engagement events like Coolest Projects, hackathons, educator conferences, seminars, and community events. Report on all programme activities in the state, providing teams with insight to enhance programme and learning design. Deliver operational and administrative responsibilities including budget planning and management and facilities and logistics management. Represent the Raspberry Pi Foundation to external audiences, attending outreach events, and facilitating workshops with teachers and volunteers. Experience and personal attributes. A commitment to the mission and values of the Raspberry Pi Foundation. Extensive experience in programme planning and management. A minimum of 12 years is preferable in relevant programme management roles. Excellent partnership development and management skills, with a track record of leading growth through high value and government partnerships. Strong understanding of computing and digital making. A proven record of integrating curriculum or learning resources into education systems or delivering solutions in schools, with an understanding of critical success factors. Excellent understanding of the Indian education system, with a particular focus on school-based and community-based education. Experienced manager, with the ability to build diverse teams and support them to do great work. Excellent verbal and written communication skills: proficient in reading, writing, and verbal communication in English, with a fair level of proficiency in Telugu. A collaborative, flexible, and solutions-focused approach, with the ability to manage conflicting priorities and complexities. Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science/IT and/or a teaching qualification preferred. Willingness to work flexible hours to better cater to the local project requirements. Ability to undertake extensive local travel, which primarily includes travel to and between both Coding Academy units, government partner's offices, state education offices, industry partners, etc.; owning a vehicle is preferred.
