We are currently looking for a Senior Director, Commercialization and Development Counsel in United States.. This role offers a high-impact opportunity to provide strategic and operational legal guidance across commercialization, development, and regulatory functions in a rapidly evolving biopharmaceutical environment. The Senior Director will partner with cross-functional teams—including Commercial, Clinical, Medical, Regulatory Affairs, Market Access, and Drug Safety—to ensure compliance, mitigate risks, and support innovative business strategies. This position requires a proactive, hands-on legal professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative setting and can balance complex regulatory and business priorities. You will play a critical role in guiding product development and commercialization efforts while shaping best practices in legal, compliance, and corporate governance.. Accountabilities. . Provide legal counsel and business advice on commercialization, marketing, regulatory strategy, medical affairs, and drug safety matters.. . Advise on federal and state healthcare laws, including FDA regulations, Anti-Kickback Statute, False Claims Act, HIPAA, PhRMA Code, Sunshine Act, and state pricing transparency requirements.. . Support clinical trial programs, drug development pathways, and product launch initiatives with regulatory and commercial guidance.. . Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop compliant marketing strategies, promotional materials, and scientific exchange communications.. . Assist the Market Access team with payer strategies, government pricing, pre-approval communications, distribution models, and patient support programs.. . Provide corporate compliance support including development of policies, procedures, SOPs, and training programs to foster an ethical culture.. . Manage outside counsel for complex legal matters and monitor budgets for legal and compliance resources.. . Serve as a trusted business partner, providing actionable guidance and risk mitigation strategies to leadership across departments.. . . Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school and active license to practice in the relevant state, with ability to obtain in-house counsel registration.. . Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, or life sciences law, including law firm and/or industry experience.. . Demonstrated expertise in healthcare and life sciences regulations, including drug labeling, advertising and promotion, market access, scientific exchange, and product liability.. . Experience advising regulatory, commercialization, and medical teams, with strong understanding of FDA and global regulatory requirements.. . Proven track record providing strategic, practical, and compliant legal solutions in a fast-paced environment.. . Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.. . Ability to think critically, manage multiple priorities, and operate independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.. .
