You will teach American Sign Language using both live and asynchronous methods while supporting students’ progress toward their academic goals. Deliver live and asynchronous instruction in American Sign Language to students across various virtual learning formats.. . Personalize lessons based on student needs, mastery levels, and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) where applicable.. . Assess student progress using assignments, quizzes, and exams, providing timely feedback to students and parents.. . Maintain gradebooks, manage messaging and communications, and support student engagement and accountability.. . Collaborate with other teachers, administrators, and parents to create a positive, inclusive, and effective virtual learning environment.. . Participate in mentorship and content support assignments, including onboarding new teachers and contributing to professional development initiatives.. . Develop and maintain learning resources, instructional materials, and strategies to enhance student outcomes.. . . Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.. . Active state teaching license with a Global Languages: American Sign Language (ASL) endorsement.. . Minimum of three years classroom teaching experience and at least one year of online teaching experience.. .
