Senior Accountant. who thrives in fast-paced environments and loves building systems from the ground up. This is a hands-on role for someone who is not only technically sharp but also enjoys automating workflows, optimizing month-end close, and being a key partner in financial decision-making. You’ll report directly to the CFO and play a critical role in maintaining accurate financials, tax compliance, and operational efficiency.. Key Responsibilities. Accounting Operations. . Own end-to-end accounts payable, vendor setup, and compliance with 1099 guidelines . . Manage employee expense reports, payroll entries, and bonus/commission accruals . . Support payroll processing and track tax-related filings (state and federal) . . Month-End Close & Reporting. . Lead reconciliations for prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and general accruals . . Prepare accurate journal entries and manage balance sheet reconciliations . . Drive month-end and year-end close processes in coordination with finance leadership . . Compliance & Process Optimization. . Assist in external audits and ensure compliance with tax regulations (1099s, sales tax, corporate tax) . . Continuously identify opportunities to automate and streamline accounting workflows . . Maintain and enforce internal controls aligned with US GAAP and ASC 606 . . Must-Have. . 3+ years in accounting, preferably in SaaS or public accounting . . Bachelor's degree in Accounting . . Solid understanding of US GAAP and experience with prepaid, payroll, and balance sheet reconciliations . . Systems knowledge: QuickBooks Online or NetSuite, Google Sheets (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs), Ramp or Concur, Salesforce, and HRIS systems like Rippling . . Proven experience managing multiple projects with attention to detail and clear communication . . Nice-to-Have. . Familiarity with ASC 606 and subscription billing platforms (Zuora, Maxio, Salesforce CPQ) . . Experience using Avalara or Vertex for sales tax . . High-growth or startup experience with a “roll-up-your-sleeves” mindset . . Ability to work cross-functionally and contribute to broader finance strategy. . Company Location: Philippines.
