Accountabilities. . Conduct data analysis and track key metrics relevant to drug use trends among military personnel.. . Develop and implement methods for capturing and retaining metrics for trend analysis and reporting.. . Assist in drafting responses to technical, operational, and administrative inquiries.. . Serve as a technical advisor to senior leadership within the program.. . Review and draft revisions to policies, directives, and official documentation.. . Prepare briefing slides, memoranda, and reports for stakeholders including DoD leadership, Congress, and other federal entities.. . Maintain technical competency in forensic toxicology, analytical chemistry, pharmacology, instrumentation, and data analysis.. . Perform other related tasks as assigned to support program objectives.. . . . Master’s degree in a physical or biological science applicable to forensic toxicology.. . Minimum of six years’ experience in clinical or forensic laboratory management and operations.. . Deep understanding of analytical instrumentation, its capabilities, and limitations in forensic toxicology.. . Knowledge of legal aspects of drug testing.. . Experience with Office of Secretary of Defense (OSD) correspondence processes, including memoranda, staff action packages, and information papers.. . Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and technical documentation.. . Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.. .
