Operations Manager - Logistics & Customer Service at TheCompuLab. Job Title: Operations Manager – Logistics & Customer Service. Location: Remote. Type: Full time. Salary: $1,350-$1,500 negotiable and based on experience level. Reporting directly into the CEO. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Manager with a strong background in overseeing customer service and logistics and shipping container management. This role is critical in ensuring the seamless coordination between departments, exceptional customer service, and efficient operations across our supply chain. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with billing, invoicing, reporting, cost analysis, and be an expert in Microsoft Excel. Familiarity and experience with the EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) is a must (minimum 2 years). Must have experience in ecommerce and managing remote teams.. People Management:. Manage customer service and operations lead. Logistics Coordination:. Oversee all logistics operations including container shipping, freight scheduling, and vendor communication. Ensure timely and cost-effective transportation.. Cross-Department Collaboration:. Act as a liaison between logistics, customer service, sales, and finance people to ensure smooth operational flow and timely communication.. Customer Service Oversight:. Maintain high standards of customer service by resolving logistical issues promptly and professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.. Billing & Invoicing:. Manage the preparation, review, and processing of logistics-related invoices. Work with finance to reconcile discrepancies and ensure accurate billing.. Data Reporting & Metrics:. Generate and analyze reports related to shipping performance, costs, delivery timelines, and service levels. Present insights and recommendations to leadership.. Cost Analysis:. Evaluate shipping and logistics costs, identify inefficiencies, and recommend cost-saving opportunities.. Process Improvement:. Implement and maintain operational best practices using the EOS framework.. Excel Reporting:. Build and maintain complex Excel reports and dashboards for logistics and operations tracking.. Qualifications. Strong experience in managing 3-7 direct reports.. Proven experience in logistics operations, preferably with shipping containers and international freight.. Operations management or logistics-focused role.. Strong understanding and hands-on experience with billing and invoicing processes.. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.. Experience in generating and interpreting KPIs, metrics, and cost analysis reports.. Deep familiarity with the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS).. Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to work collaboratively with multiple internal teams.. Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented..
