Integrate telephony services like Twilio or Asterisk for call routing and orchestration. . . Set up STT/TTS pipelines using Google, AWS Transcribe Medical, or Azure speech APIs. . . Use large language models (like GPT-4) with prompt chaining to drive call logic. . . Implement fallback and human-in-the-loop workflows. . . Develop robust backend services in . Ruby (on Rails). or . Python. with REST/gRPC APIs and database integrations. . . Ensure HIPAA-compliant handling of call logs, transcripts, and metadata. . . Collaborate directly with the founders in an async-first team, with weekly syncs.. . Requirements. . 3+ years of voice/telephony development (e.g., Twilio, Asterisk) . . Experience with speech APIs (Google, AWS Transcribe Medical, Azure) . . Proficiency in LLM usage, prompt engineering, and API integration . . Backend development in Ruby (on Rails) or Python; REST/gRPC; DB integrations . . Familiarity with human-in-the-loop systems and fallback logic . .
