We are looking for an experienced US Recruiter with a solid background in accounting/bookkeeping to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the full recruitment cycle for accounting and finance positions — from sourcing and screening candidates to coordinating interviews and supporting hiring decisions. Recruit specifically for 1099 and contract-based accounting and finance roles. . Leverage AI and develop tools using OpenAI to streamline and optimize the recruiting funnel. . Bring a background in HR or people leadership to navigate sensitive conversations and candidate interactions. . Apply strong copywriting skills to craft compelling outreach and job marketing materials. . Operate with a content- and community-driven mindset to attract talent through engagement rather than cold outreach. . Lead end-to-end recruitment processes for accounting and finance roles. . Source, attract, and engage qualified candidates through various channels. . Review resumes, conduct interviews, and evaluate candidates’ technical accounting abilities. . Build strong relationships with hiring managers and provide guidance on role requirements and market trends. . Maintain an active pipeline of accounting talent for current and future hiring needs. . Ensure a smooth and professional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process. . . 3+ years of US Recruitment experience (must have experience hiring 1099 and contract-based employees in the US). . 1+ years of experience in an accounting/bookkeeping role (e.g., bookkeeper, accountant, auditor, finance associate). . Experience in QuickBooks Online is required.. . Proven success in recruitment, talent acquisition, or headhunting. . Strong understanding of accounting concepts and financial reporting. .
