Lead Dynamics Architect (CRM Consultant) at Ardanis. Ardanis is seeking a highly experienced Senior Dynamics 365 CE Solution Architect / CRM Consultant to lead a technical discovery and proposal engagement. The role focuses on assessing a complex, heavily customised D365 CE environment, including architecture, integrations, data model, automation processes, and DevOps pipelines. The engagement will produce a comprehensive technical assessment, actionable short-term stabilisation measures, and a roadmap for simplification, optimisation, and long-term sustainability, potentially leading to a larger-scale transformation project.. Responsibilities:. Evaluate the current Dynamics 365 CE architecture, customizations, entity model, and configuration. . Identify sources of complexity, performance bottlenecks, and fragility. . Recommend strategies to simplify the architecture, reduce technical debt, and leverage D365 out-of-the-box capabilities. . Analyse existing integrations, including Dataverse OData APIs, Outbound Event Messages, and Enterprise Service Bus (ESB). . Review data flows, data reconciliation challenges, and environment promotion processes. . Propose robust data governance and integration patterns, supporting scalability and real-time operations. . Assess current Azure DevOps pipelines, multi-environment deployment practices (Sandbox, Development, Test, UAT, Production). . Identify inefficiencies in release management and promotion of test/production data. . Recommend automation improvements to enhance deployment reliability and reduce manual steps. . Review the existing managed service framework, identifying constraints in agility, accountability, and value delivery. . Recommend future support models: hybrid, self-service, or optimised managed service. . Produce a concise but detailed findings and recommendations report. . Provide a short-term stabilisation plan to reduce operational risk. . Define medium-term architecture simplification and process optimisation roadmap. . Deliver options for future operating and service models, including indicative costs, benefits, and resource requirements. . Prepare a proposal for next-phase implementation, highlighting scope, technical approach, and risk mitigation strategies.. Senior-level expertise in Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (Sales Enterprise module) . Strong experience with integration technologies: Dataverse APIs, ESB messaging, web services, and external system connectors. . Deep knowledge of Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and multi-environment deployment strategies. . Proven experience in CRM architecture rationalisation, simplification, and modernisation initiatives. . Experience assessing managed service models, including governance, SLAs, and support optimisation. . Advanced problem-solving, technical consulting, and stakeholder communication skills. . Ability to translate complex technical findings into actionable business recommendations. . Strong understanding of data modelling, reconciliation, and automation in enterprise CRM contexts. . Comfortable operating in a fast-paced discovery phase with tight deadlines (2–3 weeks). . Proactive, independent, and able to drive alignment across internal and external teams..
