Marine Technical Advisor at Interocean. We are looking for a Marine Technical Advisor to join our team who will provide 24 hour marine vetting and technical support on a global basis. The work schedule comprises of: 12 days on / 9 days off (Shift Pattern: 5 dayshift – weekend – 5 nightshift). The position is remote, however Aberdeen based location is preferred.. Key Responsibilities. . Provide global 24-hour marine vetting and technical support.. . Daily monitoring and management of a specialised marine database.. . Continuous communication with global Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).. . Arrange vessel surveys to meet vetting requirements.. . Complete various reviews, including Initial DP, Annual DP, DP FMEA & Proving Trials, Class Surveys, eCMID, OVIQ, ERRV Surveys, and Structural Integrity assessments.. . Review procedures, DP Operation Manuals, DP FMEA’s, CAMO & ASOG’s, and Checklists.. . Issue vessel certificates to match vetting requests.. . Ensure vessel vetting’s are managed and kept up to date.. . Qualifications:. . . Education:.  Currently holds or has held a Marine, Engineering or ETO Certificate of Competency. . . Experience:.  3 years’ experience on DP vessels / DP technical experience as DP Consultant / Superintendent or equivalent. . Skills:. . . Knowledge and understanding of industry requirements from the International Maritime Organisation (IMO), Classification Societies. . Understanding of industry bodies including the International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA), Oil Companies International Marine Forum (OCIMF) and Marine Technology Society (MTS). . Experience in conducting/reviewing marine inspections for marine vessels. . . Personal Attributes:. . .
