As a Sr. Electrical Engineer, you will lead the design and development of power and analog systems for advanced battery-powered IoT devices. You will oversee the integration of solar charging, lithium battery management, LED drivers, and sensor interfaces, ensuring energy-efficient, reliable, and field-ready hardware. Collaborating closely with global ODM and JDM partners, you will guide design decisions, validate partner outputs, and ensure regulatory compliance. This role combines hands-on circuit design, system validation, and technical leadership, offering the opportunity to directly impact product performance, scalability, and innovation. You will work in a dynamic, collaborative, and fast-paced environment with cutting-edge embedded hardware technologies.. Accountabilities. ·         Design and develop power subsystems for low-power IoT devices, including solar charging, Li-ion/LiPo battery management, DC-DC converters, and power path control.. ·         Serve as the primary electrical engineering interface for global ODM/JDM partners, defining requirements, reviewing schematics, guiding design decisions, and ensuring production-ready hardware.. ·         Design, validate, and optimize solar energy harvesting and LED lighting subsystems.. ·         Integrate and validate analog front ends for environmental and motion sensors, ensuring low noise and high accuracy.. ·         Lead schematic and PCB layout reviews of partner-generated designs, ensuring compliance with electrical, thermal, and mechanical constraints.. ·         Plan and execute hardware validation, debugging, and tuning across internal and partner teams using lab tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and thermal/power analyzers.. ·         Provide comprehensive design documentation, including block diagrams, BOMs, test plans, and compliance strategies.. ·         Support regulatory approvals and certification processes (FCC, CE, UL) through design review and lab coordination.. ·         Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.. ·         5+ years of hands-on experience designing power and analog circuits for battery-operated embedded or IoT systems.. ·         Proven experience managing or collaborating with ODM/JDM vendors throughout product development and NPI.. ·         Strong understanding of lithium battery systems, charging circuits, and solar energy harvesting.. ·         Expertise with LED driver circuits, analog front ends, and low-power sensor integration.. ·         Proficiency with schematic capture and PCB layout tools (Altium, OrCAD, KiCAD).. ·         Skilled in debugging hardware using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and thermal/power tools.. ·         Familiarity with DFM and DFT principles.. ·         Preferred: experience with outdoor or solar-powered devices, knowledge of wireless modules (BLE, LTE-M, LoRa), hardware revision control (ECAD Altium), EMC design practices, and mass production with global manufacturing partners..
