The CPA Accountant, will participate in a wide range of operational tasks, including reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, reporting and the ATO Compliance. . Duties and Responsibilities:. . . Reconcile bank accounts monthly. . Manage Various Park & Village Budgets. . Accounts Payables. . Accounts Receivables. . . Process weekly payroll. . BAS lodgment for all entities. . Superannuation lodgment. . Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.. . Preparation of P&L, balance sheet, and monthly management reports. . Monitor cash flow. . Manage employee reimbursements. . Month-end and year-end closing, including all aspects of the accounting process (journal entries and accruals).. . Ensuring compliance with accounting standards. . Maintain fixed asset registers. . Ensure compliance with ATO requirements and support external audits. . Maintain appropriate documentation for tax, audit, and statutory purposes. . Provide financial insights and reporting to support decision-making. . Identify opportunities to streamline finance processes and enhance efficiency. . Support the CEO in ad hoc analysis and projects . . Qualifications:. . Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. . CA/CPA accredited professional. . 3 years + experience in similar role. . Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Xero. . Payroll Experience - advantageous. . Ability to manage a small team. .
