Essential Skills / Experience:. . Minimum of 2 years of Sales Development or Business Development experience.. . Understanding of the IT industry and prospecting IT decision makers.. . Excellent phone, written and verbal communication skills.. . Adept at cold calling, networking, and prospecting.. . Ability to build client relationships over the phone/online.. . Able to type at least 50 words per minute.. . Core Job Functions:. . Make calls to prospective clients.. . Develop leads and create appointments with clients for our comprehensive network health assessment.. . Use subscription lists and various non-customer contacts to promote DTS and uncover new business opportunities.. . Track and record lead and appointment information in our CRM system (ConnectWise).. . Additional Role Requirements:. . Proactive, results driven, and committed to creating new business.. . Positive, friendly, and helpful attitude.. . Secure and quiet work area with ability to carry out a phone conversation with little or no background noise.. . Internet connection capability of at least 20 Mbit download.. . Reliable power (must have a whole house UPS if unreliable). . Able to pass a background check. . . Compensation & Benefits:. . R3,000 - R10,000 per month or more depending on skills and experience.. . R25,000 average in commissions for each new client obtained.. . 15 days paid time off per year.. .
