This role offers the opportunity to lead a high-profile defense program, managing contract execution and guiding a multi-disciplinary team to deliver critical outcomes for U.S. Army security cooperation initiatives. The Program Manager will act as the senior point of contact for government stakeholders, overseeing project performance, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving strategic program objectives. This position requires coordinating complex operational tasks, fostering client relationships, and mentoring team members. The successful candidate will also contribute to business growth efforts, support proposal activities, and maintain alignment between corporate management and government priorities. This is a primarily remote role, with occasional on-site visits to client and corporate offices in the Washington, D.C. area.. . Accountabilities. The Program Manager will:. . Serve as the primary liaison with government stakeholders, managing cost, schedule, and performance requirements.. . Lead and oversee a diverse team of subject matter experts, analysts, and technical staff across multiple task areas such as technology transfer, acquisition, strategy, and training.. . Coordinate delivery of all contractual deliverables, reports, and documentation in accordance with performance work statements (PWS).. . Manage day-to-day operations, including subcontractor coordination, staffing, and workflow prioritization.. . Ensure compliance with U.S. statutory and DoD directives, OPSEC, AT/FP, and Army information assurance policies.. . Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across government offices, including DSCA, ASA(ALT), PMOs, and Combatant Commands.. . Participate in program reviews, leadership briefings, and internal/external meetings as required.. . Oversee program financials, risk management, and business growth activities, while managing staff performance and professional development.. . Candidates should possess:. . Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (10+ years in Security Cooperation/Security Assistance may suffice).. . 6+ years of program management experience supporting complex DoD security cooperation or international programs.. . Active TOP SECRET/SCI clearance at time of application.. . Demonstrated ability to manage complex government contracts and client relationships.. . Proven leadership experience, including staff mentoring and performance management.. . Exceptional organizational, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills, including executive-level briefing capability.. . Preferred experience: FMS case lifecycle management, ITAR/EAR export controls, DAWIA or PMP certification, and familiarity with DSCA, ASA(ALT), Army/ECS, T2DS2, or A/ECS systems.. .
