
OSINT Investigator - Contractor - UK based - French language skills at Centre for Information Resilience. The Centre for Information Resilience (CIR) is an independent organisation dedicated to exposing human rights violations and threats to democracy. We achieve this through open source research, digital investigations, capacity-building with local partners, and collaboration with media to amplify our impact.. CIR was born out of a determination to expose those spreading harm – online and offline – around the world, particularly in areas of violent conflict, such as Ukraine, Sudan and Myanmar. Our projects are at the forefront of efforts to investigate and document human rights abuses, war crimes, harms targeting women and minorities, and influence operations. Apply open-source investigation and analytical techniques to collect, collate, verify and analyse data from open sources, and record the information in databases with pre-set information fields and ensure they are appropriately sourced and comprehensively capture the topic within the project’s scope.. . Review data entries to ensure their accuracy and relevance to the project.. . Contribute to timely delivery of high quality project outputs including briefings. . . Contribute to internal reviews of effectiveness and identify opportunities to improve efficiency of project activities.. . Essential Criteria:. . Proven track record in OSINT-driven investigations.. . Proficient research language skills in French language.. . Experience in projects with sizeable datasets.. . Basic skills in satellite imagery including tools such as ArcGIS.. . Ability to work independently, including time management and prioritisation.. . Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate technical terminology for lay audiences and to support clear, comprehensive and timely data collection.. .
