Assistant Manager – Business Development. with 4–5 years of experience in B2B solution selling, ideally within market research, consulting, analytics, or knowledge services. The role is focused on driving revenue growth through acquisition and expansion of enterprise clients for insight-led and customized research solutions.. The ideal candidate should be comfortable engaging mid-to-large enterprise clients, selling intangible value-based solutions, and managing end-to-end sales cycles with ownership and accountability.. Key Responsibilities. Own the complete sales lifecycle: prospecting → discovery → solution positioning → proposal development → negotiation → closure. . Drive new business acquisition across assigned geographies and industry sectors. . Build, manage, and maintain a healthy sales pipeline with predictable conversion rates. . Engage CXOs and senior stakeholders to understand complex business challenges and position research-driven consulting solutions. . Collaborate with delivery and research teams to co-create customized proposals aligned with client needs. . Manage and grow existing accounts through repeat business, cross-selling, and upselling opportunities. . Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, and pipeline visibility. . Additional Requirements. Prior exposure to clients in technology, manufacturing, BFSI, or professional services sectors is advantageous. . Existing regional client relationships or strong professional networks will be an added benefit. . Willingness to travel moderately within the assigned geography. .
