As a Clinical Implementation Specialist, Phaco Systems, you will play a pivotal role in supporting ophthalmic healthcare professionals in the effective use of advanced surgical technologies. This position combines clinical expertise with hands-on technical training, ensuring eye care providers can confidently deliver optimal patient outcomes. You will coordinate and execute clinical education, troubleshoot equipment performance, and act as a key liaison between medical teams and internal support functions. The role requires adaptability, excellent communication, and a commitment to delivering high-quality support across a wide geographic area. With up to 75% domestic travel, you will help clinicians enhance their skills and improve patient care. Accountabilities. ·         Provide clinical and technical training for ophthalmic healthcare professionals on Phacoemulsification platforms and Femtosecond Cataract Laser systems.. ·         Conduct educational sessions to ensure effective understanding and application of clinically relevant information.. ·         Support meetings, trade shows, and other events to educate clinicians on product use and best practices.. ·         Document all customer interactions accurately and communicate insights to sales and service teams.. ·         Manage travel and customer support schedules efficiently, coordinating with managers when conflicts arise.. ·         Monitor and report performance, safety data, and training outcomes clearly and accurately.. ·         Travel domestically up to 75%, including driving, air travel, and overnight stays, to meet customer needs.. . ·         Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.. ·         Minimum 5 years of medical device, clinical, or technical experience.. ·         Previous operating room experience required; ophthalmology experience preferred.. ·         Certification such as CST, COA, COT, or COMT is preferred.. ·         Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team while supporting company and sales objectives.. ·         Proficiency with sophisticated technology and advanced surgical procedures.. ·         Valid U.S. driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively, including potential weekends.. ·         Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.. .
