
Productivity Systems Engineer at Seeq. We are seeking a Productivity System Engineer who is both a strategic thinker and a tactical executor. This individual will have deep hands-on expertise in Office 365 and customer service and will be responsible for the engineering and management of Seeq’s internal IT systems.. Seeq’s IT team supports over 250 employees working fully virtual from the US and around the globe. Employee laptops are mostly self-managed, and the IT systems are completely cloud-based, with M365 being the key productivity suite.. Essential Duties and Responsibilities . Provide expert-level engineering and administration of Office 365 (SharePoint, Exchange, Defender, OneDrive).. Manage identity and access management using Entra ID, SSO, MFA, and conditional access control policies. . Manage Exchange online and its configuration, including spam filtering and email security. . Oversee customer IT support. Track service desk performance. Serve as a backup to the Productivity System Administrator for day-to-day IT support. . Support security compliance efforts related to SOC 2 Type 2 and ISO 27001. . Develop procedures related to IT support, BYOD, employee onboarding, and offboarding. . Coach and support the Productivity System Administrator on expert technology concepts, customer service best practices, and their professional development. . Collaborate with the Director of IT in partnering with leaders and users across the organization to understand their IT needs and align IT delivery and innovation with the business goals. . Manage Microsoft and other SaaS licenses and cost optimization. . Manage the enterprise SaaS lifecycle (Zoom, Atlassian, Slack, Adobe, and AI tools like Glean and Keeper). . Support the Director of IT in developing the IT roadmap and IT budget.. Manage and execute IT projects, including new technology implementation.. This role requires working outside of the position’s business hours since it supports users globally. After-hours support is needed only a few times every couple of months currently. This position may be required to participate in an on-call rotation in the future to support the growing organization. . Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.. An ideal candidate will have at least five years of current hands-on IT engineering experience.. Microsoft Office 365 relevant education and certifications.. Expert-level knowledge of administering and providing support for O365, Entra ID, Exchange, SharePoint, Defender, OneDrive, security configuration, and compliance log reviews, as well as a broad range of end-user devices running Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, and Android.. Solid expertise in PowerShell scripting for O365.. Solid understanding of information security best practices such as least privilege, authentication, device hardening, inventory management, and access reviews. . General software and hardware troubleshooting experience. . Strong understanding of ITIL practices and incident management. . Strong customer service experience. .
