Draft and prepare immigration-related legal documents, including visa petitions, affidavits, appeals, and motions. 📝💻. . Submit immigration petitions and applications to relevant agencies, meeting all deadlines. 📑⏱️. . Conduct legal research on immigration laws, regulations, and case precedents. 📚🔍. . Communicate with clients in English and Spanish, addressing inquiries and providing updates. 🌐🤝. . Maintain organized case files and accurate documentation for immigration cases. 🗂️✔️. . Prepare and review immigration forms for visas and other processes. ✍️📋. . Support attorneys with administrative tasks related to immigration cases. 🔄📎. . Track visa deadlines and case progress, keeping attorneys informed. 📆✅. . ✅ Our Ideal Candidate:. . Has at least two years of experience as a legal assistant or law clerk. 💼. . Holds a law degree (or equivalent) from their home country. 🎓. . At least 2 years of experience as a paralegal in a U.S. immigration law firm. ⚖️. . Is proficient in legal software like Clio or MyCase (preferred). 💻. . Is bilingual in English (C1 or higher) and Spanish, both spoken and written. 🗣️. . Can work independently on multiple projects with minimal supervision. 💪. . Familiarity with immigration-specific databases and software. 📊. . Strong knowledge of U.S. immigration procedures, visa types, and forms (family-based, humanitarian, and employment-based immigration). 📋. . Permanently resides in Latin America. 🌍. .
