Design, build, and maintain core backend services using PHP (Laravel), with the opportunity to use Go.. . Drive architectural best practices, guiding teams on APIs, database design, and performance optimization.. . Lead modernization efforts, replacing legacy components with robust, scalable solutions.. . Collaborate with PMs and cross-functional engineering teams to ensure maintainable and scalable backend systems.. . Contribute to infrastructure discussions and enhancements for the cloud platform hosted on AWS.. . Foster a strong code review culture and maintain high standards for testing and documentation.. . Ensure platform scalability, reliability, and performance at all times.. . . . 5+ years of experience working on complex backend applications or large-scale platforms.. . Strong proficiency in PHP, ideally with Laravel; familiarity with Go is a plus.. . Hands-on experience working with legacy codebases and transitioning them to modern architectures.. . Demonstrated ability to make thoughtful architectural decisions and coach others on backend practices.. . Independent, solution-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership.. .
