This role offers the opportunity to be a key technical leader in cloud transformation initiatives, supporting large-scale, cloud-native infrastructures on Azure. The position combines hands-on technical expertise with client-facing responsibilities, requiring you to resolve complex issues, mentor junior engineers, and ensure seamless service delivery. You will operate in a fast-paced environment, collaborating across teams and stakeholders to design, implement, and optimize cloud workloads. As an Azure Engineer L3, you will:. . Serve as the primary escalation point for complex Azure and Windows infrastructure issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal operational impact.. . Lead technical discussions with customer and internal teams, delivering expert guidance, best practices, and recommendations.. . Implement, maintain, and optimize Azure services including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS (App Services, AKS, Cosmos DB, SQL DB, LogicApps, Storage Accounts, Application Gateway, Front Door, ExpressRoute, etc.).. . Design, manage, and troubleshoot infrastructure using Terraform and Azure DevOps pipelines, including custom modules for automation.. . Implement and refine observability and monitoring practices using tools such as Azure Monitor and Grafana.. . Mentor and guide L1/L2 engineers, fostering skill development and operational excellence.. . Provide detailed incident reports, post-mortem analyses, and recommendations for continuous improvement.. . Manage and maintain Windows Server environments, clusters, Active Directory, network configurations, patching, backups, and recovery operations.. . . The ideal candidate will have:. . 10+ years of professional experience with Windows environments and Azure, with at least 5 years focused on Windows administration.. . Strong hands-on experience with Azure cloud services, DevOps practices, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).. . Expertise in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) configuration, scaling, and troubleshooting.. . Proficiency with observability, alert management, and performance tuning using monitoring tools.. . Advanced skills in Windows Server administration, including Failover Clusters, Always On Clusters, IIS, patch management, and network troubleshooting.. . Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and proactive approach to technical challenges.. . Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.. . Leadership experience in mentoring engineers and managing cross-functional technical initiatives.. . Additional skills (nice-to-have):. .
