Role Overview: . The . Lending Operations Associate. will support the full lifecycle of loan applications, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and a seamless experience for clients and partners. This role is ideal for someone highly detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple applications simultaneously. You will play a key role in coordinating documentation, maintaining systems, and supporting the credit and operations teams.. Key Responsibilities: . Manage and process loan applications from initial intake through to settlement. Assist in credit applications, including collecting information, structuring deals, and using internal systems to assess eligibility. Prepare loans for settlement by verifying settlement details and ensuring all requirements are complete and accurate. Review and verify financial and supporting documents for completeness and accuracy. Coordinate with clients, brokers, and lenders to gather required information and provide status updates. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM and internal systems. Assist in preparing application summaries and documentation for credit review. Monitor pipeline activity and follow up on outstanding requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams via Slack, email, and virtual meetings to ensure smooth operations. Take ownership of tasks end-to-end, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery. Help test software features and functionality to support ongoing product improvements. Perform general administrative and virtual assistant tasks as needed. Support marketing efforts by assisting in the preparation of marketing videos and copy. Ensure compliance with internal processes and applicable regulatory standards. Identify inefficiencies in workflows and suggest improvements to enhance operations. 1–3 years of experience in lending operations, financial services, or a related field. Strong attention to detail and ability to handle high-volume administrative tasks. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience working with financial documents such as bank statements, credit reports, and tax records. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (especially Excel) and CRM platforms. Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment. Strong organizational and time management skills. Experience with Australian lending processes is a plus but not required.
