Accountabilities:. ·         Architect, build, and maintain scalable data platforms, ensuring reliability and performance across all data systems.. ·         Define and evangelize data engineering best practices, tools, and design patterns for company-wide adoption.. ·         Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design services that produce clean, structured, and reliable data.. ·         Solve complex technical challenges including platform performance, data governance, and cost optimization.. ·         Mentor engineers across teams through workshops, design reviews, and one-on-one guidance.. ·         Drive technical decisions and initiatives across multiple teams, acting as a thought leader in data strategy.. ·         Evaluate, select, and integrate new data technologies to address business and technical challenges.. . ·         8–12+ years of experience in data engineering or software engineering, with strong technical leadership and architecture experience.. ·         Expertise in designing and scaling large-scale cloud data platforms (GCP/BigQuery preferred).. ·         Strong knowledge of data modeling, transformation frameworks (e.g., DBT), and ETL/ELT patterns.. ·         Experience with event streaming technologies (e.g., Segment) and complex data ecosystems.. ·         Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams, build consensus, and lead large initiatives without direct authority.. ·         Excellent collaboration skills with senior leaders in Product, Engineering, and Analytics.. ·         Demonstrated ability to solve ambiguous, complex problems and improve engineering velocity and quality.. ·         Strategic mindset with the ability to design foundational systems for long-term business needs..
