This position is essential in ensuring smooth health center operations by providing excellent customer service, managing patient calls, and maintaining accurate schedules and records.. Key Responsibilities:. . Answer incoming patient telephone calls promptly and route to appropriate departments.. . Schedule patient appointments accurately following established procedures.. . Manage provider and scheduling resources to ensure full and efficient schedules.. . Document and route clear and concise messages for providers and staff in the EMR system.. . Maintain strict patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA and organizational protocols.. . Collect, verify, and manage health insurance and demographic information.. . Conduct appointment reminder and confirmation calls.. . Provide general information to callers with professionalism, empathy, and courtesy.. . Participate in required meetings, trainings, and in-service education.. . Perform other related duties as assigned.. . . Minimum 3 years of healthcare scheduling/call center experience.. . Bilingual in Spanish and English (required).. . Proficiency with . AthenaOne EMR.  or similar scheduling systems.. . Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.. . Excellent customer service and telephone etiquette.. . Ability to work in a . culturally diverse environment.  with professionalism and respect.. .
