Auditor / Senior Accountant at Weekday AI. This role is for one of Weekday’s clients. Salary range: Rs 360000 - Rs 420000 (ie INR 3.6-4.2 LPA). Min Experience: 1 years. Location: Remote (India). JobType: full-time. We are hiring an Auditor / Senior Accountant who can independently handle core accounting, review and correct the work of junior accountants, and prepare accurate consolidated financial information. The role is best suited for someone who has already worked as a Senior Accountant and has substantial experience in reviewing juniors’ work for full set accounting. The ideal candidate combines hands-on rigor with an auditor’s eye for detail and can communicate clear, actionable feedback to management..  . Key Responsibilities. . Review, validate, and correct entries prepared by junior accountants; document errors and fixes.. . Own month-end and year-end closure activities including reconciliations, schedules, and management reporting.. . Prepare and review workings for consolidation and support consolidated financial statements.. . Identify process gaps, propose controls, and implement checklists for consistency.. . Clear backlog items, investigate variances, rectify misclassifications, and align ledgers.. . Ensure statutory and internal policy compliance across vouchers, approvals, and audit trails.. . Prepare concise completion notes and report progress/issues to management..  . . Must-Have Skills. . Proven experience reviewing junior accountants’ work and identifying fixes.. . Strong knowledge of accounting principles, reconciliations, and closing processes.. . Understanding of consolidation concepts (eliminations, intercompany, minority interest, mapping).. . Exposure to Singapore compliance workflows (IRAS filings, GST, withholding tax, XBRL).. . Advanced Excel/Google Sheets (pivots, lookups, reconciliation templates, error tracking).. . Strong written and verbal communication; diagnostic questioning skills.. . Self-starter mindset, comfortable working independently and meeting Singapore deadlines..  . . Good to Have. . Audit background (Big 4 or mid-tier) and industry accounting exposure.. . Familiarity with Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, Xero, or similar.. . Prior remote work experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Supersee) and structured reporting..  . . Qualification. . ACCA or Commerce Graduate preferred.. .
