This leadership role is responsible for shaping and nurturing a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture. You will lead strategic human resources initiatives, oversee compliance with labor laws, and drive programs that enhance employee engagement, professional development, and organizational effectiveness. Acting as a cultural steward, you will partner with leadership to align people practices with strategic objectives and organizational values. Accountabilities. . Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with organizational goals and mission.. . Oversee employee relations, conflict resolution, and risk management, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws.. . Manage HR operations, including employee leave, benefits administration, onboarding/offboarding, and performance management systems.. . Collaborate with leadership and external HR consultants to design and deliver effective policies, programs, and tools.. . Champion organizational culture, equity, diversity, and inclusion initiatives, and support employee engagement and well-being.. . Act as the staff liaison to the Board of Directors’ Internal Affairs Committee, updating and operationalizing policies and procedures.. . Monitor HR budgets, allocate resources effectively, and oversee professional development and staff learning programs.. . Plan and evaluate staff retreats, in-person meetings, and events to strengthen team cohesion and collaboration.. . . 7–10 years of experience in human resources, organizational culture, or related field, with in-house experience preferred.. . Strong knowledge of federal and state HR compliance requirements, including ADA, EEO, FMLA, and local labor laws.. . Demonstrated experience in talent acquisition, performance management, employee development, and succession planning.. . Proven leadership presence, emotional intelligence, and ability to foster a positive remote or hybrid work environment.. . Experience managing partnerships with PEOs and other HR consultants.. . Strong project management, time management, and organizational skills with the ability to lead multiple priorities.. . Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.. .
