This individual will support the seamless migration of data sources related to end-user devices into the Configuration Management Database (CMDB), ensuring full integration with Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) processes. This role plays a critical part in ensuring data integrity and automation within our CMDB and reports directly to the Director of IT Asset & Configuration Management.. Key Responsibilities:. . Lead the . design, deployment, and optimization. of ServiceNow Discovery and Service Graph Connectors across enterprise environments. . . Develop . secure and scalable integrations. between ServiceNow and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and ServiceNow IntegrationHub ETL. . . Oversee the implementation of ServiceNow’s . Identification and Reconciliation Engine (IRE). for effective data mapping, transformation, and reconciliation. . . Collaborate with HAM/SAM teams to ensure . alignment of Discovery data. with asset lifecycle and compliance requirements. . . Configure and manage . MID Servers. , including schedule optimization, credential setup, and endpoint configuration. . . Execute . custom scripting and automation. using JavaScript, PowerShell, or Python to enhance Discovery and integration processes. . . Provide . strategic leadership. in the migration and transformation of CMDB data for end-user devices. . . Partner with infrastructure, security, and platform teams to ensure integrations support IT operations and compliance standards. . . Create and maintain comprehensive . documentation and training materials. for internal stakeholders. . . Offer subject matter expertise on .
