We are currently looking for a Workday Solutions Architect – Absence & Benefits in the United States.. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Workday Benefits and Absence solutions for North America. You will partner closely with HR, Finance, and IT stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into scalable, user-centered systems. The position involves configuring and enhancing Workday modules, managing security and reporting, and driving seamless integration across the HR digital ecosystem. You will serve as a trusted advisor, guiding teams through change management, system upgrades, and process improvements. By leveraging your deep technical expertise, you will enhance operational efficiency, ensure compliance, and deliver an exceptional employee experience. This is a highly visible role requiring both technical mastery and strong collaboration skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.. . Accountabilities. ·         Lead the design, configuration, and optimization of Workday Benefits and Absence modules to align with organizational strategies.. ·         Partner with HR and global Workday teams to define scalable solutions supporting health, retirement, wellness programs, and leave management.. ·         Ensure seamless integration of Benefits and Absence processes within the broader Workday ecosystem.. ·         Implement system improvements, leveraging Workday functionality to enhance efficiency, compliance, and the employee experience.. ·         Serve as the technical lead for end-to-end implementation, testing, and go-live support of Benefits and Absence solutions.. ·         Manage Workday Security roles, ensuring proper data access and compliance with organizational policies.. ·         Develop and maintain advanced Workday reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.. ·         Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, providing guidance on best practices, process enhancements, and change management initiatives.. ·         Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain solution integrity.. . ·         Bachelor’s degree in HR Management, Information Systems, or a related field; advanced degrees a plus.. ·         Minimum 5 years of HRIS experience specializing in Workday Benefits and Absence modules.. ·         Deep technical expertise in Workday Benefits and Absence configuration, testing, and deployment.. ·         Strong knowledge of Workday Security, role-based access, and data privacy standards.. ·         Proficiency in Workday Reporting and Dashboards, including advanced analytics creation.. ·         Experience implementing or redesigning absence policies and benefits structures is a plus.. ·         Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.. ·         Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.. ·         Workday certification in Benefits and/or Absence preferred; Security and/or Reporting certifications a plus..
