We are currently looking for an Outside Sales Representative in Lakewood, New Jersey.. This role offers an exciting opportunity to represent a premium design brand within a dynamic territory spanning Delaware, Northwest and South New Jersey, and Eastern Pennsylvania. The Outside Sales Representative will cultivate relationships with interior designers, architects, and clients, showcasing high-end wallcovering collections and delivering an exceptional client experience. You will combine creativity, strategic sales skills, and a passion for design to drive revenue and strengthen the brand’s presence in the market. This position balances client-facing interactions, territory management, and collaborative teamwork, offering a mix of independence and support from a dedicated sales team. Occasional travel to events, trade shows, and headquarters enhances professional visibility and engagement.. Accountabilities. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales, expanding client relationships, and maintaining a premium brand presence:. ·         Cultivate and nurture strong client relationships across residential and commercial accounts.. ·         Deliver engaging product presentations, highlighting design, texture, and innovation.. ·         Maintain showrooms, sample libraries, and digital tools to reflect current collections.. ·         Exceed sales goals through a combination of inbound and outbound activities.. ·         Discover new business opportunities and expand the client network.. ·         Represent the brand at industry events and through professional social media engagement.. ·         Maintain accurate CRM records, provide account insights, and partner with internal support teams for seamless order management.. The ideal candidate combines sales expertise with creativity and organizational skills:. ·         4+ years of experience in outside sales, interior design, or related fields.. ·         In-depth knowledge of the local design market in South NJ, Eastern PA, or Delaware.. ·         Willingness to travel occasionally for trade shows, events, and client meetings.. ·         Tech-savvy with proficiency in CRM and ERP systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and social media platforms.. ·         Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.. ·         Reliable transportation capable of carrying sales materials and samples.. ·         Customer-focused with exceptional service and follow-up skills.. ·         Positive, team-oriented, detail-driven, and organized approach to managing client and territory needs.. ·         Bachelor’s degree preferred, but experience, skills, and passion are the primary focus..
