Accountabilities. As a Staff ML Engineer (LLMS, NLP), you will be responsible for:. . Designing and deploying LLM-powered solutions to enhance AI-driven products and operations.. . Leading architecture decisions, cost optimization, and observability for AI workflows.. . Collaborating with ML researchers, product managers, and application engineers to implement high-scale systems.. . Applying research algorithms into production systems for NLP, information retrieval, and machine learning applications.. . Ensuring system reliability, maintainability, and performance in production environments.. . Mentoring peers and guiding best practices for AI/ML system design and development.. . Evaluating and integrating vector databases, LLM APIs, and agentic workflows where applicable.. . The ideal candidate will bring:. . 12+ years of engineering experience with strong system design expertise.. . At least 1.5 years building production-grade LLM applications.. . Advanced Python skills for AI/ML development and familiarity with Node.js for integration tasks.. . Hands-on experience (2+ years) implementing NLP, LLMs, and ML algorithms for information retrieval and text processing.. . Experience with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, or similar) and prompt engineering.. . Knowledge of observability tooling for AI systems and system reliability patterns.. .
