As a Partnerships Sales Associate at MDS, you’ll play a key role in expanding and supporting our partner ecosystem within a network of 700+ high-level e-commerce entrepreneurs. This role sits at the intersection of sales, partnerships, and events. You’ll be responsible for identifying and onboarding partners, managing affiliate promotions, and ensuring partner and event deliverables are executed smoothly. You’ll also support the Partnerships team with event execution and relationship management, helping ensure partners are set up for success before, during, and after events. This role requires strong communication, organization, and a willingness to travel at least three times per year to support key partnership initiatives in person.. ABOUT YOU. You have experience in sales, partnerships, or business development, ideally within e-commerce. You’re comfortable owning partner relationships end to end, from outreach and onboarding to deliverables and execution. You’re highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple partnerships at once while keeping details and timelines on track. Strong communication and relationship-building skills come naturally to you, and you enjoy collaborating cross-functionally to make partnerships successful. You’re comfortable working remotely, willing to travel at least three times a year for events, and excited to contribute to a fast-growing, community-driven team.. ABOUT US. Partner Outreach & Sales Support: Proactively identify, outreach to, and qualify potential partners (brands, service providers, software, and experts) that align with MDS member needs. Support partnership sales efforts across affiliates, event sponsorships, and community offerings.. Affiliate & Promotion Management: Manage affiliate partnerships, including promotions, tracking links, commission setup, and ongoing communication to ensure mutual value for partners and MDS.. Partner Onboarding & Coordination: Support partner onboarding by collecting assets, aligning on deliverables, and ensuring partners understand timelines, expectations, and next steps.. Event Partnership Sales & Execution: Assist with selling and coordinating event-related partnerships, including brand tables, sponsorships, discounted tickets, and experiential activations. Ensure all partner deliverables are executed accurately and on time.. Event Deliverables & Logistics Support: Coordinate partner deliverables for events, working closely with internal teams on graphics requests, app featuring, email mentions, social posts, and onsite execution.. Community & Collaboration Initiatives: Support collaborations with external events and communities, including outreach, partnership setup, promotion coordination, and communication with members.. Partner Database & Task Management: Maintain accurate records of partners, outreach status, and deliverables using internal tools (e.g., ClickUp, Airtable). Ensure tasks are created, tracked, and closed out properly.. Cross-Team Communication: Work closely with the Partnerships, Events, Marketing, and Operations teams to ensure partner commitments are aligned with internal workflows and priorities.. Travel & Event Presence: Support and attend select in-person events (minimum ~3 times per year) to assist with partner execution, relationship building, and on-site needs.. Process & SOP Contribution: Help document and improve partnership-related procedures (outreach templates, onboarding steps, event collaboration workflows) to support scalability and efficiency.. QUALIFICATIONS. 2+ years of experience in sales, partnerships, business development, or affiliate marketing, preferably within e-commerce, SaaS, or creator/brand ecosystems.. Strong relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to engage partners professionally and follow through on deliverables.. Comfortable managing multiple partnerships and sales initiatives at once, including affiliate promotions, event deliverables, and partner onboarding.. Experience using CRM and project management tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Airtable, ClickUp, or similar) to track outreach, deals, and execution.. Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage timelines, contracts, and partner commitments end to end.. Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote-first environment, while collaborating closely with internal teams.. Willingness to travel at least 3 times per year for events, partner meetings, or industry conferences.. Interest in e-commerce, entrepreneurship, and community-driven business models is a strong plus.. Company Location: Mexico.
