This role offers the opportunity to design, operate, and optimize next-generation infrastructure solutions supporting diverse application environments, including cloud, on-premises, and containerized platforms. You will work closely with a geographically distributed team to improve the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of development and production systems. The DevOps Engineer will focus on automation, continuous integration/deployment pipelines, and virtualization/container strategies to enhance developer productivity and platform performance. You will also participate in code reviews, implement operational best practices, and contribute to shaping the infrastructure roadmap. This position encourages innovation, collaboration, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, providing a direct impact on operational excellence and technology evolution. Remote work is supported, with occasional on-site collaboration required.. . Accountabilities:. Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure solutions including RedHat OpenShift, Kubernetes, and KubeVirt environments.. Develop and maintain automation for provisioning, deployment, Day-2 operations, decommissioning, and migration.. Manage namespaces, permissions, and configuration of containerized and virtualized environments.. Collaborate with engineering teams on code standards, architecture, and technical designs.. Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and incident resolution to ensure system reliability and performance.. Optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Tekton, Argo, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.. Monitor infrastructure using tools like Prometheus and Grafana to track system health and performance metrics.. Document runbooks, disaster recovery plans, and platform architecture to support operational continuity.. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.. 3+ years of Linux experience across multiple platforms (RHEL, Ubuntu, SUSE).. 1+ years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes and KubeVirt, virtualization, and container technologies.. 1+ years of experience with cloud-based PaaS and IaaS environments; GCP or Azure preferred.. 2+ years of experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.. Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (Go, Python, Bash preferred).. Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.. Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON formats, and application deployment methodologies.. Familiarity with IT automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Chef is a plus.. Knowledge of network load balancers, VMware, or enterprise-scale infrastructure is advantageous.. Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently and in distributed teams..
