As a Senior Manager leading Data Platform Engineering, you will guide the evolution of a growing data ecosystem from startup-level operations to enterprise-grade scalability. Partnering across product, engineering, and business teams, you will shape data infrastructure that supports real-time applications, analytics, and strategic business initiatives. This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on leadership and operational execution:. . Lead, mentor, and grow the Data Platform team, building a high-performance culture and ensuring career development opportunities.. . Develop and maintain robust, scalable data engineering processes and pipelines, balancing speed with quality and minimizing technical debt.. . Oversee data ingestion, ETL/ELT processes, data warehousing, and self-service reporting solutions from diverse sources.. . Collaborate cross-functionally to define strategies, roadmaps, and best practices that align the data ecosystem with business goals.. . Ensure operational excellence, system performance, and reliability of critical data applications, tools, and infrastructure.. . Drive adoption of enterprise-grade standards for data quality, governance, security, and observability.. . The ideal candidate combines leadership, technical expertise, and healthcare domain experience:. . BA or MA in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.. . 3+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field with expertise in modern cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), ETL/ELT, data warehousing, and real-time data processing.. . 5+ years of leadership experience managing and mentoring high-performing data teams.. . 5+ years of experience working with healthcare data, including familiarity with compliance, regulatory requirements, and data governance.. . 3+ years of experience in agile environments, driving iterative development and cross-functional collaboration.. . Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.. .
