This role is essential in navigating the complexities of the UK planning system and providing strategic advice to our clients on urban planning projects.. Key Responsibilities:. . Conduct comprehensive planning appraisals and assessments for various development projects, ensuring compliance with UK planning regulations and policies.. . Prepare detailed reports, planning submissions, and documents for planning applications.. . Engage with clients, stakeholders, and local authorities to facilitate smooth communication and support throughout the planning process.. . Provide expert advice on planning strategies, site selection, and project feasibility assessments.. . Maintain up-to-date knowledge of planning legislation, policies, and best practices.. . Assist in the preparation of planning applications, including the development of supporting documentation.. . Contribute to project management activities and collaborate with the Planning & Acquisition Team.. . Qualifications & Skills:. . A degree in Planning, Urban Studies, Environmental Science, or a related field.. . Minimum of 5 years of experience in a planning consultancy role or local authority.. . Strong knowledge of UK planning policies and procedures.. . Excellent analytical, research, and report-writing skills.. . Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with experience in client engagement.. . Proficient in using planning software and tools, with working knowledge of GIS applications as an advantage.. . Minimum Qualifications:. . Bachelor’s degree in Planning, Urban Studies, Environmental Science, or a related field.. .
