Owlet is looking for a Senior Product Manager, Healthcare to lead the strategy, development, and execution of our healthcare-facing product portfolio. This includes BabySat, Owlet’s FDA-cleared prescription pulse oximetry sock; Care+, our mobile application for caregivers and clinicians; it’s HIT connectivity offering, and our evolving telehealth initiative aimed at improving accessibility and continuity of care for infants.. In this highly cross-functional role, you will own the product vision, roadmap, and execution of connected healthcare experiences that integrate with Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) platforms and electronic health records (EHRs). You’ll work at the intersection of hardware, software, clinical stakeholders, and regulatory teams to deliver products that meet the high standards of both caregivers and medical professionals. . PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:. Product Leadership. Own the end-to-end lifecycle of Owlet’s healthcare product portfolio, including BabySat, Care+, Integration and telehealth offerings. Define and execute the roadmap for Owlet’s HIT integration with RPM and EHR systems, in partnership with engineering and healthcare data integration teams. Sales adjacent with integrated end customers, from design, deployment, go-live, and entire lifecycle. Collaborate closely with regulatory, clinical, and customer-facing teams to ensure product viability in healthcare settings. Strategy & Insights. Lead long-term strategy and roadmap planning for healthcare offerings, aligned with company goals and clinical trends. Translate complex user needs—both caregiver and clinician—into actionable product features and experiences. Serve as a thought leader and internal champion for Owlet’s healthcare innovation roadmap. Execution & Optimization. Write clear product requirements, prioritize features, and work closely with engineering and design teams to bring solutions to life. Bring inputs from external stakeholders (healthcare systems, HIT partners, etc.) to define functionality as clear product requirements with prioritized features. Monitor product performance metrics, voice of customer, user engagement, and clinical outcomes to drive continuous improvement. Ensure adherence to security, privacy (e.g., HIPAA), and regulatory standards throughout the product lifecycle. Cross-functional Partnership. Partner with Sales, Customer Success, Legal, Regulatory, Clinical and Marketing teams to support product launches and customer adoption. Collaborate with the Sales team, supporting integrated account opportunities from initial scope to full adoption. Represent the healthcare product line in executive briefings, board updates, and cross-functional meetings. Product Management & Strategic Leadership. 5+ years of product management experience with at least 3 years focused on healthcare technology, digital health, or connected medical devices. Strong experience working with HIT, as it pertains to RPM platforms, EMR/EHR integrations, and clinical workflows. Proven success in defining and shipping products in regulated environments, ideally with Class II medical devices or mobile medical apps. Ability to balance long-term vision with tactical execution. Data-driven, with a passion for using insights to make informed decisions. Excellent communication and storytelling skills for both technical and non-technical audiences. Healthcare & Technical Acumen. Familiarity with HL7, FHIR, and/or middleware solutions like Rhapsody or Redox for healthcare data exchange. Deep knowledge of the US healthcare systems including Payer/Provider relationships, Insurance/Authorization process, healthcare coding and how they pertain to solution acceptance and payment models. Strong understanding of HIPAA, patient data privacy, and cybersecurity principles. Deep empathy for both parent and provider experiences in the pediatric care continuum.
