OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE . Infopro Digital is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to lead growth efforts across the APAC region. This quota-carrying role will focus on selling Market Access Solutions to new business prospects in the region.. The successful candidate will combine an entrepreneurial mindset with a deep understanding of the financial services landscape in Asia-Pacific. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker and hands-on closer with strong networks across investment banks, asset managers, hedge funds, fintechs, and regulatory institutions.. Key Responsibilities. . Regional Growth Strategy - Develop and execute a business development strategy tailored to the APAC market, in alignment with global objectives and regional market dynamics.. . Revenue Generation - Drive the end-to-end sales cycle—from prospecting and pitching to negotiation and contract closure. Focus on new client acquisition across the financial services ecosystem.. . Enterprise Engagement - Position our full product suite effectively to C-level stakeholders, emphasizing ROI, market insight, and competitive advantage.. . Market Development - Identify and pursue high-potential opportunities in both mature and emerging markets across Asia-Pacific, contributing to brand expansion and market penetration.. . Stakeholder Collaboration - Partner with Account Management, Marketing, Content, and Operations teams to ensure seamless onboarding and account growth.. . Industry Representation - Represent Infopro Digital at major APAC financial events and conferences to enhance brand visibility and build high-value relationships.. . Reporting & Forecasting - Maintain accurate CRM records and regularly report on pipeline progress, revenue forecasts, and market feedback to senior leadership.. . The role is primarily remote, based out of our HK office. Domestic and International may be required from time to time. . . Strong Commercial Acumen: Proven track record in high-value B2B sales, ideally in financial publishing, SaaS, data, or financial services.. . Regional Market Expertise: In-depth knowledge of the APAC financial services sector, including cultural nuances and regulatory environments.. . Outstanding Communication: Fluent and persuasive communicator, confident presenting to C-suite and senior stakeholders across cultures.. . Negotiation & Influence: Skilled in structuring complex deals, creating value propositions, and navigating long sales cycles.. . Driven & Resilient: Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-oriented environment.. . Organised Multitasker: Able to manage multiple sales opportunities and touchpoints simultaneously without losing momentum.. . Tech Proficient: Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms; able to track and optimize the sales process using data insights.. . Requirements: . . A minimum of 1-3 years of successful proactive business development, sales, marketing, or lead generation/enablement experience. . Bachelor’s degree preferred. . Experience selling business to business (B2B) with a track record of overachieving sales goals. . Must live within commutable distance of our Hong Kong office and commit to being in at least 4 days a week. . An understanding of financial concepts and principles as they relate to clients’ needs is a strong plus. . Additional language is a bonus, but not a requirement, particularly Japanese. .
