We are seeking an experienced Lead Data Architect to define and drive the technical vision for large-scale data engineering initiatives across multiple cloud platforms and cloud-agnostic systems. In this role, you will establish architecture standards, lead complex platform implementations, and provide technical guidance to both internal teams and strategic clients. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, mentoring architects, influencing cloud platform choices, and shaping data governance strategies. Define and drive the technical vision and roadmap for the Data Engineering Center of Excellence (CoE) across cloud and hybrid platforms.. . Establish architecture standards, best practices, and governance models for Azure, GCP, AWS, and cloud-agnostic solutions such as Databricks and Snowflake.. . Lead pre-sales engagements for strategic opportunities, providing technical guidance and supporting solution design for cloud-focused clients.. . Develop and implement reusable frameworks, accelerators, and architectural patterns for data platform implementations.. . Mentor and guide pillar architects and other technical leaders across multiple platforms.. . Drive platform selection decisions, integration strategies, and partnership initiatives with key cloud and technology providers.. . Represent the organization as a technical thought leader in client engagements and industry forums.. . . 12+ years of experience in data engineering, with at least 6 years in leadership roles.. . Deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform services (BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc) and strong knowledge of Azure and AWS data services.. . Extensive experience with modern data architecture patterns, ETL/ELT frameworks, and cloud-native data platforms.. . Proven track record of leading complex, large-scale data platform implementations.. . Strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance requirements.. . Hands-on experience with Python, SQL, Scala, Java, and data orchestration tools (Airflow, Cloud Composer, ADF, Step Functions).. . Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Pulumi, Bicep, CloudFormation) and DevOps practices.. . Experience in building reusable templates, accelerators, and frameworks for data engineering.. . Strong communication, stakeholder management, and client-facing skills.. .
