Mechanical Engineer (Designer - HVAC) | Permanent WFH at BizForce. We are seeking a highly experienced Mechanical Engineer/Designer with around 20 years of expertise in HVAC design for commercial buildings. The ideal candidate has a solid background working in an MEP engineering office, collaborating closely with architectural clients, and delivering high-quality, efficient mechanical systems.. Key Responsibilities:. . Lead the design and development of HVAC systems for commercial building projects.. . Apply deep knowledge of hydronic systems, including chilled water, hot water, and steam.. . Integrate building automation systems to ensure energy efficiency and performance.. . Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to align project goals.. . Review and validate mechanical design drawings, specifications, and calculations.. . Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.. . Support projects from conceptual design through construction administration.. . . Registered Mechanical Engineer. . At least 20 years of HVAC design experience, preferably in an MEP engineering firm.. . Strong expertise in hydronic systems (chilled water, hot water, steam).. . Knowledge and hands-on experience with building automation systems.. . Commercial building project experience required; healthcare/hospital project experience is a strong plus.. . Proficiency in . AutoCAD.  and . Revit. .. . Strong communication and coordination skills with multidisciplinary teams.. . Amenable to work remotely during U.S. business working hours.. .
