QualDerm Partners is hiring a business-focused leader to build and manage its data, analytics, and AI capabilities. This role blends team leadership, hands-on execution, and operational ownership. The ideal candidate can lead a small (and growing) team, manage external engineering resources, personally deliver high-value analytical and AI solutions, and ensure the data infrastructure runs reliably with minimal interruption. The role reports to the CIO and works across clinical, operational, revenue cycle, marketing, and finance teams to solve real business problems with data.. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES. :. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of data engineers and analytics professionals.. Scope, coordinate, and oversee external engineering partners and resources.. Identify high-impact business problems and prioritize data use cases based on expected ROI.. Deliver more than $5M in annual EBITDA impact through data-driven initiatives.. Own the full data stack (Azure, Fivetran, Snowflake, dbt, BI), ensuring data quality, availability, governance, and compliance with HIPAA and PHI/PII standards.. Collaborate with executives and operational leaders to translate business challenges into actionable data solutions and drive organizational adoption.. Monitor emerging technologies and evaluate their relevance to QualDerm’s strategic goals.. 5–12+ years of experience in data analytics, data engineering, AI/ML, or related fields. 3–5+ years of people management experience leading analysts and/or data engineers. Technical proficiency with SQL, Python, cloud platforms, and modern data stacks (Snowflake, Azure/AWS/GCP, dbt, Fivetran). Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools such as Cursor, Augment, and similar platforms. Preference for Healthcare experience. Company Location: United States.
