Our client is hiring a Strategic Account Director to strengthen and expand our strategic relationships across APAC. This is not a hunting-focused role. The primary focus is on farming and growing existing strategic accounts, building advocacy, and staying top-of-mind with clients. A secondary responsibility is supporting the closing of new opportunities within existing or growth accounts.. You will serve as the face of the company for strategic clients, working closely with Survey Directors and regional leadership to deepen relationships, drive retention, and unlock expansion opportunities. This role reports directly to the Regional President (APAC) and operates at the same seniority level as regional leadership peers.. Responsibilities. 1. Strategic Account Management & Expansion. Act as the primary account manager for strategic accounts.. Be the face of the company for clients with survey opportunities.. Support the closing of new opportunities (in collaboration with internal teams).. Conduct post-project follow-up calls and mid-project check-ins.. Drive client referrals and advocacy initiatives.. 2. Relationship Building & Client Advocacy. Conduct regular office visits (~25% travel).. Stay top-of-mind with clients through proactive engagement.. Reach out to newly promoted team members within client organizations.. Re-engage lapsed users.. Keep clients informed about new platform functionality and offerings.. Organize and arrange office trainings and relationship-building initiatives.. 3. Escalation & Cross-Functional Coordination. Manage client escalations and ensure timely resolution.. Act as backup to the delivery role when required.. Work closely with Survey Directors across APAC (no direct reports, but strong collaboration).. 4. Market & Leadership Feedback. Synthesize client and market feedback into trends and insights.. Communicate organizational changes, client priorities, and market signals to Leadership Team.. Funnel client feedback to Product to influence roadmap and improvements.. 5. CRM & Reporting. Ensure CRM accuracy and maintenance (including chasing down survey status updates).. Maintain structured, periodic meeting summaries accessible at city/segment level.. Track and manage strategic account activity consistently.. 6. Campaign Execution & Targeted Outreach. Plan and execute sales/marketing campaigns in partnership with Marketing.. Conduct targeted outbound to:. Lapsed users.. New teams within existing accounts.. New business units within current client organizations.. Bachelor’s degree in any field. Degrees in quantitative disciplines (Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Computer Science, etc.) are a plus.. Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in account management, strategic sales, or client relationship roles.. Prior exposure to consulting and/or private equity clients is strongly preferred.. Existing network in APAC is advantageous but not required.. Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.. Comfortable managing escalations and executive-level conversations.. Structured and disciplined with CRM hygiene and reporting.. Strong commercial mindset with ability to drive expansion within accounts.. Willingness to travel (~25%).. Company Location: Australia.
