Test & Evaluation (T&E) Subject Matter Expert (SME). specializing in . software testing within the Department of Defense (DoD) systems acquisition domain. . This role is ideal for professionals with deep expertise in software T&E acquisition processes and hands-on experience supporting . Program Management Office (PMO) environments. .. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Agile, Lean, and DevSecOps methodologies and possess working knowledge of emerging technologies such as Azure cloud, generative AI, and quantum computing. This position will contribute to the development of a four-course credential focused on software T&E by providing technical input, curriculum content, and policy-aligned recommendations.. Compensation: $100k - $150k per year. Key Responsibilities. . Provide advanced subject matter expertise in . software T&E acquisition processes within DoD PMO structures. . . . Guide integration of software T&E into program-level . Test & Evaluation Master Plans (TEMP). and . Test & Evaluation Strategies (TES). . . . Deliver technical input and quality assurance for the creation of curriculum and training materials for the Software T&E credential. . . Support PMO-aligned efforts by helping define and validate learning objectives, outcomes, and assessment strategies. . . Lead and contribute to Scrum and SWARM-based curriculum development sessions using ADO Kanban boards. . . Participate in Curriculum Requirements meetings and provide technical leadership as the primary SME. . . Apply PMO experience to align T&E strategy with overall program milestones, acquisition lifecycle, and policy directives. . . Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review and select appropriate commercial training materials. . . Conduct daily standups and ongoing working sessions to ensure alignment, progress, and quality. . . Apply Agile, Lean, and DevSecOps methodologies to improve testing and delivery frameworks across the acquisition lifecycle.. . Required Qualifications. . . Bachelor's degree. in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline. . . . 10+ years of relevant experience. , with . direct involvement in PMO operations supporting DoD systems acquisition. . . . Demonstrated success applying software T&E practices within large DoD programs, particularly . within or in partnership with a PMO. . . . Proven experience integrating T&E strategies into TEMP and TES documentation. . . Strong background in Agile, Lean, and DevSecOps for software testing and development. . . Solid understanding of Azure cloud infrastructure, generative AI, and quantum computing principles. . . Experience in curriculum development, learning strategy design, and delivery. . . Ability to manage software T&E risk assessments and create mitigation strategies aligned with PMO expectations. . . Strong collaboration, communication, and stakeholder alignment skills within cross-functional and technical teams. . . . U.S. Citizenship required. ; must be able to pass a federal background check. . . . Availability for quarterly travel (approx. 3 days/quarter). to Fort Belvoir, VA, and additional travel as needed. . . . Core working hours. : 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM EST. . . Preferred Qualifications. . Prior experience . working in or directly supporting a DoD PMO. , ideally in a T&E or acquisition strategy role. . . Expertise in developing and implementing . Initial Design Strategies (IDS). for courseware. . . SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) certification and/or Kanban certification. . .
