Senior Platform Engineer at Weekday AI. This role is for one of the Weekday's clients. Salary range: Rs 2500000 - Rs 3500000 (ie INR 25-35 LPA). Min Experience: 5 years. JobType: full-time. Requirements. . Strong proficiency in Java or other object-oriented programming languages. . . Hands-on experience in building and deploying enterprise applications on cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. . . Solid understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture. . . Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills, particularly in distributed systems running in cloud environments. . . 5+ years of experience in full-time, agile software development roles. . . Proven track record of owning features end-to-end, from design and development to deployment and production support. . . Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment. . . Strong sense of ownership with attention to detail. . . Experience with the Spring ecosystem frameworks in Java. . . Exposure to large-scale distributed data processing technologies (e.g., Spark) and query engines (e.g., Trino). . . Background in data analytics. . . Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. . . Experience with workflow/resource management frameworks such as Airflow or Argo. . . Knowledge of agentic application principles, including unstructured data extraction, memory design (short-term/long-term), and vector-based context management. . . Experience with prompting frameworks (e.g., ReAct, CoT), multi-agent orchestration frameworks (e.g., AutoGen, CrewAI), and agent communication protocols (e.g., A2A, MCP). . . Familiarity with embedding models, vector stores, and grounding techniques. . . Responsibilities. . Design and implement core platform features including job scheduling, orchestration, execution engines, and resource management. . . Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, following industry standards and best practices. . . Diagnose and resolve issues to ensure platform reliability, scalability, and high performance. . . Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as product managers and designers to refine and implement feature requirements. . .
