
Senior Bookkeeper AU (Xero) - Work from Home at Twoconnect. . Manage bookkeeping and accounting for multiple clients using the Xero platform.. . Provide professional and timely services, ensuring all client needs are met. . . Bookkeeping and Accounting Cycle: . . Utilize Hubdoc and Dext bill management systems for coding and publishing bills. . . Upload payable bills and raise receivable invoices for approval. . . Process expenses using Xero Expenses. . . Perform full Xero bank reconciliation, including importing bank statements, coding transactions, matching with bills and invoices, and splitting payments or receipts.. . Taxation and Reporting: o Understand Australian GST and tax regulations.. . Prepare BAS (Business Activity Statements) workpapers. . . Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations for accounts such as intercompany loans, payroll accounts super, PAYGW, etc.), accruals, and prepayments. . . Calculate payroll for clients using Xero. . Calculate payroll tax for review. o Reconcile payroll balance sheet accounts, including super, PAYG withholding, FBT, annual leave, LSL, and payroll tax. . . Daily Operations: o Participate in daily morning workflow meetings with Stewart & Smith. o Review and code bills received in Hubdoc/Dext, publishing them to Xero for approval.. . Review and enter payables in Xero, ensuring they are ready for approval by company. . . Perform bank reconciliations by matching bills and payments.. . Run month-end balance sheet accounts for review and reconciliations. . . Conduct GST activity statement checks for coding accuracy. . . . Proven experience managing multiple clients within an accounting practice.. . Extensive experience using the Xero platform, including Xero payroll.. . Familiarity with Hubdoc and Dext bill, management systems.. . Excellent Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office/Teams. . . With 3 years plus relevant accounting qualifications.. . Xero certification with a high level of expertise.. . Strong understanding of Australian GST and tax regulations. . . Excellent communication skills in English. . .
