Wayfinder is seeking an Enterprise Business Development Associate to work closely with and directly support the National Senior Director of Enterprise Sales. This is a unique hybrid role that combines enterprise business development with high-level executive support. You’ll play a critical part in driving outreach to large school districts (serving 40,000+ students) while also ensuring seamless day-to-day support for the NSDES in service of Wayfinder’s highest-impact partnerships.. This role is a perfect fit for someone with experience in business development, education, and executive support — and who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You’ll gain exposure to top district leaders across the country, deepen your understanding of the education technology space, and play a key role in advancing Wayfinder’s mission.. Your work will center around outbound prospecting and sales enablement — identifying and qualifying new leads, nurturing relationships with high-level education leaders, and preparing prospects for meetings with the NSDES. At the same time, you’ll provide critical behind-the-scenes support, including managing her inbox and calendar, updating Salesforce, preparing resources, booking travel, sending contracts, and keeping all moving pieces organized and on track.. We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and mission-aligned team member to serve in a hybrid role that blends enterprise-level business development with high-level executive support. This person will help expand Wayfinder’s presence in large school districts (40K+ students) by securing strategic meetings, managing outreach efforts, and supporting our National Senior Director of Enterprise Sales (NSDES) in high-impact tasks.. Due to the blended nature of this role and the seasonal rhythm of the work, responsibilities are divided approximately 50/50 across the year. The first half of the year is primarily focused on scheduling meetings and coordinating with partners. The second half of the year shifts toward closing deals and managing a range of sales operations tasks.. Key Responsibilities. Enterprise Business Development (50%). . Represent Wayfinder’s Products and Services: Develop a strong understanding of our K–12 solutions and conduct market research to align our offerings with the evolving needs of large school districts.. . . Generate Leads and Build Relationships: Nurture warm prospects and identify new opportunities to expand our reach into major districts across the country.. . . Manage and Maintain a Pipeline: Partner closely with the NSDEP to support prospects through every stage of the sales journey, from first outreach to signed contract.. . . Utilize Sales Tools: Leverage Salesforce, Outreach.io, cold emailing/calling, and objection handling strategies to generate high-value opportunities.. . . Articulate Value Propositions: Communicate Wayfinder’s offerings with clarity and enthusiasm in both written and verbal formats, helping to secure meetings and steward sales prospects with district decision-makers.. . . Schedule Meetings: Schedule and coordinate strategic meetings between prospective districts and the NSDEP.. . . Executive and Sales Operations Support (50%). . Inbox and Calendar Management: Serve as a point of coordination for the NSDEP by triaging emails, managing scheduling logistics, and ensuring timely follow-up with key stakeholders.. . . Contract and Documentation Support: Prepare and send contracts, ensure accurate data entry in Salesforce, and manage proposal and documentation needs.. . . Travel and Event Coordination: Book travel, prepare itineraries, and support logistics for conferences and on-site district visits.. . . Resource Sharing and Communication: Send follow-up materials, maintain communication with leads, and keep the sales pipeline organized and moving forward.. . . Extensive Networking Skills: At least 3–5 years of relevant work experience with a demonstrated ability to interface effectively with high-level school district administrators.. . . Proven Sales Experience: 1–2 years of sales/business development experience, with a history of exceeding lead generation targets.. . . Exceptional Communication Skills: Strong and polished written and verbal communication abilities across phone, Slack, and email.. . .
