Designing and building scalable, high-performance, and responsive web applications.. . Taking end-to-end ownership of product features, from architecture to deployment and maintenance.. . Translating requirements, designs, and wireframes into clean, high-quality code.. . Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product development.. . Mentoring junior engineers and reviewing their work for quality and efficiency.. . Implementing best practices in coding, testing, and documentation to ensure maintainability and scalability.. . To succeed in this role, you should bring:. . At least 3 years of production experience with Ruby on Rails and modern web frameworks.. . Proven experience in building scalable/distributed SaaS applications.. . Strong knowledge of REST APIs, JSON handling, caching, sessions, and multi-threading.. . Proficiency in database schema design with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, Elasticsearch, DynamoDB).. . Experience developing and integrating APIs (REST and GraphQL).. . Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, software engineering best practices, and agile methodologies.. .
